Enterprise Sales Lead - Media & Content Vertical - AI MR Firm
Job Description
We are looking for a strategic, results-driven, mid-level Sales Leader to lead and scale our Media & Content Research Vertical.
This role will focus on driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key brands in the Media & Content industry, in India.
Role Overview:
As the Enterprise Sales Lead, Media & Content Research Vertical, India, you will be responsible for driving new revenue streams, managing client relationships, and scaling our presence in the media and content industry in India - across the TV, OTT, Films and other content streams.
You will work closely with the product and engineering teams to:
- Identify and map market requirements and help translate them to product requirements to deliver custom and standard solutions to meet the unique needs of content marketers
- Helping media and content brands leverage our AI-driven insights for product development, marketing strategy, customer engagement, and competitive advantage.
Your leadership will be instrumental in developing and executing a sales strategy to position us as a leader in the Media & Content Research market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Drive the sales pipeline by identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing high-value deals.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior-level stakeholders at leading media and content brands, acting as a trusted advisor for their market research and analytics needs.
Market Expansion & Revenue Growth:
- Identify and pursue high-potential markets and customer segments, positioning the company's AI-powered market research solutions as the go-to platform for content insights.
- Manage the sales cycle end-to-end, from lead generation and prospecting to closing and post-sale engagement.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets, contributing directly to the company's growth objectives.
Client-Centric Solutions:
- Understand the unique challenges faced by content marketers in areas such as concept testing, creative evaluation of short-format and long-format content across various platforms
- Customise sales pitches and proposals to showcase how our AI-driven platform can solve specific client challenges and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure customer feedback is integrated into future product enhancements and tailored solutions.
Partnership Development:

- Forge strategic partnerships and alliances with key players in the content marketing and content research/consulting ecosystems to expand the company's footprint in the Media space.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional services and solutions to existing clients.
Thought Leadership & Brand Evangelism:
- Serve as a brand ambassador and thought leader in AI-powered market research, representing the company at industry events, webinars, and client meetings.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to effectively position the company's offerings in the market.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Develop sales forecasts, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report regularly on business development activities and progress toward targets.
- Analyse customer feedback, sales data, and market trends to continuously improve the sales process and refine the value proposition.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
