Assistant Vice President - Credit & Structured Finance - Banking/Financial Services

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Credit - Structured Finance professional with strong expertise in credit underwriting, financial analysis, and deal structuring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and structure financing transactions based on client requirements, cash flows and risk profile.
• Assess financial statements, cash flows, business performance and debt servicing capacity.
• Structure solutions across Term Loans, LAP, Promoter Funding and Structured Credit.
• Prepare Credit Notes, Investment Memos and transaction proposals for senior management - credit committees.
• Conduct detailed risk assessment and recommend appropriate mitigants and security structures.
• Review term sheets, sanction terms and transaction documentation and ensure pre-disbursement compliance.
• Work closely with Business, Legal, Risk and Operations teams for transaction closure.
• Monitor portfolio performance, covenants, borrower financials and early warning indicators.
• Support refinancing - restructuring initiatives where required.
• Participate in client discussions, due diligence and transaction structuring.

Ideal Profile:

• 8 - 12 years of experience in Credit - Structured Finance - Corporate Credit - Project Finance.
• Strong understanding of Credit Underwriting - Financial Analysis.
• Hands-on experience in cash-flow analysis, financial modelling and debt structuring.
• Ability to independently assess transaction feasibility, risks and repayment capacity.
• Strong credit writing and presentation skills.
• Exposure to lending - NBFC - banking - financial services environment preferred.
