Roles & Responsibilities Production (Metallurgy Engineer)

• Monitor and optimize seamless tube processes: piercing, rolling, reheating, cold drawing.
  
• Set and control heat-treatment cycles (normalizing, quenching, tempering).
  
• Support production teams in maintaining process stability and parameter control.
  
• Troubleshoot process deviations that affect material properties.
  
  
• Coordinate with QA/QC and maintenance to resolve quality or process issues.
  
• Implement process improvements to increase yield, reduce defects, and improve consistency.
  
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and production targets.

• Conduct metallurgical testing: hardness, tensile, impact, microstructure.

  and mechanical properties of raw materials.
  
• Monitor NDT results (UT/RT/ECT) and ensure defect-free tubes/pipes.
  
• Approve product quality as per API / ASTM / customer specs.
  
• Investigate material failures, defects, and rejection causes.
  
• Ensure proper heat-treatment quality and microstructure control.
  
• Maintain QC documentation, inspection reports, and traceability records.
