Role & responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive Multi-Cloud Strategy aligned with business objectives across industrial sectors (Steel, Power, Renewable Energy, Cement).
• Establish robust Cloud Governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards, data security laws, and organizational policies.
• Lead major Cloud Transformation initiatives, including application modernization and migration to Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud environments.
• Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Manage and optimize virtualized environments, Kubernetes, Docker
  
  , and Serverless Computing services.
• Drive effective Cloud Cost Optimization (FinOps) through budget tracking, utilization analysis, and resource rightsizing.
• Monitor cloud performance, implement proactive measures, and ensure guaranteed 99.9% uptime and service availability.
• Design and maintain resilient Disaster Recovery (DR) and backup solutions to protect critical data and systems.
• Manage and secure Data Lake Environments, including the design and maintenance of scalable storage solutions.
• Facilitate the integration of Power BI for effective data visualization and analytics.

  Implement and manage advanced Cloud Security Protocols to protect sensitive industrial data from cyber threats.
• Ensure cloud services meet stringent regulatory requirements, including ISO 27001, GDPR, and local compliance standards.
• Conduct regular Cloud Security Audits and Vulnerability Assessments to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Cloud Engineers and Specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
• Partner with IT, Operations, and Business Leadership to strategically address cloud computing needs across diverse industrial operations.
• Collaborate with external Cloud Service Providers and vendors to negotiate SLAs and ensure quality service delivery.
• Provide strategic reports and insights to senior leadership, highlighting the impact of cloud initiatives on operational efficiency and growth.
• Develop and conduct training programs to enhance cloud competencies within the organization.
