Job Description
- Role Overview:
You are applying for the position of Deputy Manager in the Information Technology department at Jindal Steel Limited, located in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. As a SAP FICO professional, you will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP Costing processes, focusing on Product Costing in SAP S/4HANA or ECC. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to design solutions aligned with business needs and ensuring accurate product cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP Product Costing solutions, including Cost Center Accounting, Product Cost Planning, and Actual Costing.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Support monthly/quarterly closing activities related to product costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Provide end-user training and documentation on costing processes.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide production support for SAP costing-related processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting principles.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of SAP FICO experience with a focus on Product Costing.
- Hands-on experience with Standard Costing, Actual Costing, Material Ledger.

- Good understanding of integration with MM, PP, SD, and CO-PA.
- Strong knowledge of BOMs, Routings, and Work Centers for cost roll-ups.
- Experience in variance analysis, WIP, and settlement processes.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
