Storage Admin L2/L3

Education : BE/ Btech / MCA

Experience : 5 - 15 Years of Experience in IBM/EMC or Other Storage products

Responsibility :

1. Management of the storage solution including storage management policy, configuration and management of disk array, SAN fabric or switches, Virtual tape library, storage servers etc.
2. Storage management including management of space, SAN volumes, RAID configuration, LUN, zone, security, business continuity volumes, performance etc.
3. Aptitude towards problem solving and troubleshooting skills on Storage, SAN/NAS connectivity.
4. Excellent product knowledge and troubleshooting skills on any two products IBM/EMC/HPE and Unified/NAS/S3 products
5. Knowledge on Replication technology/DR.
6. Basic understanding of Operating systems and Networking
7. Good understanding and basic troubleshooting knowledge on SAN and NAS.
8. Experience in atleast two models IBM ESS 5k/Flash 91XX//PMAX/VMAX/Isilon/DS8k/HP Primera, XP8, storeonce, Scality, NetApp Cluster mode, Hitachi products.
   
9. Experience in Cisco MDS or Brocade switches
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
11. Experience in troubleshooting in a technical environment
12. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
13. Software and hardware knowledge of storage
14. Must be able to support 24*7 rotational shifts.
15. Should be comfortable with learning new technologies and travelling PAN India to support new projects.
16. Change process (CR) is a must

Preferred Skills/Knowledge:

1. Knowledge of Remote Support and Remote monitoring processes and concepts
2. Tools Knowledge on HP SM
3. Experience in Unix/Linux, Windows and Vmware

Exposure on Virtualization.

Desired/Good to have Certifications:

1. Certifications that are directly related to administration or implementation or designing of storage arrays is mandatory (Not specific to any vendor)
2. Good to have any certifications from following list

NetApp Certified Technology Solutions Professional

NetApp Certified Data Administrator, ONTAP

HPE ASE Storage solutions
