Backend Developer - Node.js & Microservices Architect

What role you will play in team: As a Backend Developer, you will be a key member of our backend engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable microservices using Node.js. You will collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver high-performance backend solutions.

What you will do: You will be responsible for building and maintaining APIs, implementing business logic, and ensuring the security and scalability of our backend infrastructure. Your work will involve designing microservices architectures, optimizing database queries, and implementing monitoring and alerting systems.

Key responsibility:

• Design and develop microservices using Node.js and related technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Work with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Optimize backend performance for speed and scalability.
• Design and implement monitoring and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy and manage microservices in the cloud.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and trends.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with microservices architectures and design patterns.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
