What role will you play in the team

As a Leveraged Buyout and Financial Modeling Specialist, you will act as a core pillar of our investment banking division based in Ahmedabad. Your primary objective is to drive complex financial modeling, sponsor-backed transaction analysis, and strategic advisory mandates for our esteemed domestic and international clients, ensuring flawless execution across deal lifecycles.

What you will do

You will meticulously design sophisticated LBO models, perform comprehensive comparable company analyses, and evaluate capital structure optimization strategies using industry-standard terminals. Your day-to-day involves collaborating directly with senior dealmakers, preparing investor-ready pitchbooks, and conducting rigorous stress-testing on cash flow projections under varied macroeconomic scenarios.

Key responsibility

• Build dynamic and error-free Leveraged Buyout (LBO) models incorporating debt schedules, tax implications, and sponsor return waterfalls.
• Perform exhaustive Comparable Company Analysis and precedent transaction benchmarking utilizing Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ, and PitchBook.
• Draft high-impact pitchbooks, information memoranda, and board presentation decks for mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring mandates.
• Analyze financial statements, historical trends, and valuation metrics using advanced Excel Macros & VBA to automate reporting workflows.
• Coordinate seamlessly with legal, tax, and accounting due diligence teams during live M&A transaction processes.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated expertise of 0 to 1 years in investment banking, valuation advisory, or private equity deal support environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel Macros & VBA, DCF valuation, LBO modeling, and Comparable Company Analysis.
• Hands-on operational experience utilizing financial databases including Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ, and PitchBook.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of managing high-pressure, time-sensitive deal deliverables.
