What role will you play in the team

As a Junior Python and Django Backend Web Architect based in Coimbatore, you will drive the creation of high-performance backend infrastructure for enterprise applications. You will be responsible for translating complex business logic into clean, maintainable, and secure Django models, views, and serialized APIs. Working alongside seasoned engineers, you will architect database schemas, manage third-party API integrations, and ensure our server-side codebases adhere strictly to industry best practices, scalability guidelines, and security compliances.

What you will do

Your daily responsibilities include building scalable web applications using Python and the Django framework, structuring relational databases with PostgreSQL, and managing source code repositories via Git and GitHub. You will write comprehensive unit tests, execute database query optimizations, configure server caching mechanisms, and collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment pipelines on cloud platforms. You will also participate in technical design reviews and contribute actively to internal knowledge-sharing sessions.

Key responsibility

• Develop and maintain secure, high-throughput backend applications utilizing Python and the Django framework ecosystem.
• Design normalized relational database schemas, execute migrations, and optimize PostgreSQL performance for complex queries.
• Build, test, and document RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for seamless cross-platform data consumption.
• Maintain pristine code repositories using Git and GitHub, enforcing branch protection and code review protocols.
• Implement robust user authentication, role-based access control, and data validation layers across all services.
• Profile application performance, diagnose memory leaks, and resolve backend bottlenecks using debugging toolsets.
• Work closely with frontend and product teams to integrate UI components with underlying server business logic.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Development, or equivalent technical background.
• 0-1 years of practical software development experience focusing on Python and Django framework implementations.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming paradigms, data structures, and algorithmic efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with Database Systems, specifically PostgreSQL or MySQL schema design.
• Proficiency in Version Control Systems, including Git branching strategies and GitHub collaboration tools.
• Familiarity with API Development, JSON serialization, and third-party web service integrations.
• Foundational knowledge of Cloud Platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS for application deployment.
• Strong collaboration skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
