What role will you play in the team

You will play a pivotal role within our private equity portfolio operations division based in Bangalore. Your core mandate involves partnering directly with investment partners to evaluate portfolio company performance, build rigorous valuation models, and drive strategic financial initiatives across multiple growth-stage investments.

What you will do

You will actively develop and maintain complex financial models, execute comprehensive comparable company analysis, and leverage advanced terminal tools to extract vital industry metrics. Your day-to-day efforts will heavily influence investment decisions, capital allocation strategies, and overall value creation roadmaps for our private equity funds.

Key responsibility

• Design, construct, and maintain dynamic DCF and LBO financial models to evaluate prospective acquisitions and current portfolio holdings.
• Perform detailed Comparable Company Analysis and precedent transactions studies using Capital IQ and FactSet databases.
• Prepare comprehensive investment memo sections, valuation summaries, and strategic deck presentations for the investment committee.
• Collaborate closely with portfolio company management teams to analyze historical financials, operational KPIs, and budget variances.
• Monitor macroeconomic trends and capital markets platforms to identify potential liquidity events and exit strategies.
• Conduct thorough sensitivity and scenario analyses to stress-test investment theses against market volatility.
• Maintain rigorous version control and audit trails for all valuation schedules and financial analysis documentation.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in Valuation Techniques, DCF modeling, LBO mechanics, and financial statement analysis.
• Hands-on professional experience utilizing Capital IQ, FactSet, PitchBook, and Bloomberg Terminal for market research.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel Macros & VBA for automating complex financial calculations and reporting pipelines.
• Strong quantitative aptitude paired with exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive presentations.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced private equity environment managing multiple concurrent workstreams.

You will spend the morning reviewing valuation outputs with senior investment managers, followed by an afternoon structuring pitchbook slides and analyzing portfolio company financial statements to prepare for the upcoming weekly investment committee review.
