What role will you play in the team

You will serve as an integral pillar within our private equity portfolio risk oversight division, where your primary mission involves designing, executing, and refining quantitative risk frameworks. Your expertise will directly safeguard multi-million-dollar investments across diverse portfolio companies by identifying underlying macroeconomic, operational, and financial exposures before they impact our fund's overall performance metrics.

What you will do

Your daily routine will center on deploying advanced statistical risk models to assess leveraged buyout leverage ratios, covenant compliance structures, and market volatility shocks. You will collaborate closely with general partners and portfolio CFOs to synthesize complex financial risk metrics into actionable strategic adjustments, ensuring strict adherence to internal risk governance policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibility

• Develop and deploy robust Risk Management Software and SAS Risk Management models to quantify credit, market, and operational risks across diverse private equity portfolio companies.
• Conduct rigorous stress testing and scenario analyses on LBO capital structures to evaluate downside protection mechanisms and interest rate volatility impacts.
• Monitor portfolio company covenant compliance, debt service coverage ratios, and liquidity buffers using automated financial dashboards and analytical platforms.
• Collaborate with investment committees to formulate mitigation strategies for distressed assets and optimize risk-adjusted returns for fund stakeholders.
• Implement Excel Macros & VBA automation scripts to streamline daily risk reporting workflows, ensuring high data integrity and rapid dissemination of critical risk indicators.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Economics, or a closely related analytical discipline from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrate hands-on proficiency in SAS Risk Management, advanced Risk Management Software, and complex financial modeling techniques within private equity settings.
• Exhibit deep working knowledge of Comparable Company Analysis, DCF valuation methodologies, and debt financing structures.
• Mastery of Excel Macros & VBA for automating large-scale quantitative data processing and risk report generation.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to present complex risk metrics clearly to senior leadership.
