Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead sales and territory growth for hospital turnkey projects including Modular Operation Theatres (OTs), Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS), vinyl flooring, and related infrastructure.
The role requires direct client engagement from initial outreach and product demonstrations through negotiation and order finalization.
You will build long-term relationships with hospitals, diagnostic centres, and healthcare decision-makers to deliver complex projects and service contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within hospitals, diagnostic centres and healthcare institutions for Modular OT, MGPS, and allied products.
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle: client visits, product demonstrations, technical presentations,
commercial negotiation, and closure.
- Collaborate with senior management to implement territory strategies and maximize market coverage.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers; identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Work closely with Product Specialists and Technical teams to deliver compelling demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions.
- Partner with Marketing to prepare business plans, market assessments, and tailored customer proposals.
- Keep up-to-date product and technical knowledge; provide timely market and competitor feedback.
- Ensure accurate CRM updates, sales forecasts, and timely reporting to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-8 years of proven sales experience in the hospital market experience selling Modular OTs, Medical Gas Pipeline projects, or related hospital turnkey solutions is strongly preferred.- BE / BTech or equivalent; MBA / PGDM in Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
- Excellent selling, presentation, and negotiation skills with a track record of closing large or complex deals.
- Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders across clinical and administrative levels (ICU, OT teams, Anesthesia, Hospital Administration).
- Comfortable with extensive travel across the assigned geographic territory.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle for business travel is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and CRM tools.
