JOB DESCRIPTION:
Zonal Sales Manager - Machinery Finance:
Location: Rajendra Nagar / Kaushambi, Ghaziabad
Reporting to: Chief Business Officer (CBO)
About the Company:
- It is a leading NBFC specializing in Machinery Finance and business lending solutions. The organization is seeking a high-performing sales leader to drive business growth and expand its Machinery Finance portfolio across the assigned zone.
Role Overview:
- The Zonal Sales Manager will lead regional sales teams, drive disbursement and revenue targets, strengthen OEM/dealer/channel relationships, and ensure sustainable growth with strong portfolio quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Sales Management:
- Drive achievement of disbursement, revenue, and profitability targets for the assigned zone.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the Machinery Finance portfolio and market share.
- Identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with machinery dealers, manufacturers, OEMs, distributors, DSAs, and channel partners.
- Ensure sustainable business growth while maintaining portfolio quality.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Area Sales Managers (ASMs).
- Monitor team productivity, target achievement, and sales pipeline.
- Coach and develop sales teams to improve performance and business outcomes.
- Build a high-performance, accountable sales culture.
Portfolio Management:
- Work closely with Credit and Collections teams to maintain portfolio quality.
- Monitor delinquency trends and support timely resolution of overdue accounts.
- Balance business growth with risk management and portfolio-quality parameters.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, machinery dealers, distributors, DSAs, and key customers.
- Enhance the company's market presence and visibility within the assigned zone.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer acquisition and service delivery.
MIS & Performance Reviews:
- Conduct regular business reviews with RSMs and ASMs.
- Analyze business performance, productivity, conversion ratios, and market trends.
- Present periodic business updates and action plans to the CBO and senior management.
Candidate Profile & Mandatory Experience:
- Graduate; MBA preferred.
- 10 - 15 years of relevant experience specifically in Machinery Finance and/or Industrial Equipment Finance.
- At least 4 - 5 years of experience managing multi-location sales teams.
- Strong understanding of machinery/equipment financing, dealer networks, credit processes, and portfolio management.
- Proven track record of achieving business targets and leading sales teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned geography.
Strict Industry Fitment Criteria:
- Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience in Machinery Finance and/or Industrial Equipment Finance.
- Candidates whose experience is limited to Commercial Vehicle (CV) Finance, Car Leasing, Auto Leasing, or other vehicle/automotive finance products will not be considered.
- General NBFC or banking sales experience alone is not sufficient without relevant Machinery Finance or Industrial Equipment Finance exposure.
