Job Description
The WADU Data team in India is fundamental to its success. The team's role is to ensure the accuracy of data, handling new and existing data supplier and strategic data distribution. We understand the critical need to represent these numbers with integrity and confidence to tell an unbiased story. We value thought leadership, creativity, and logical thinking. Migrating WADU data to AWS is an important and high visibility project. Our technology counter parts are heavily involved in this migration journey. However, it's also important that the WADU business view is equally represented in the decision making. The successful candidate will jointly own the AWS business strategy and WADU API strategy and work in close collaboration with the Technology team on the AWS migration.
We need people that can think outside the box, are diligent and curious; and want to get it right. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Owning jointly the WADU AWS migration strategy from the WADU business side; represent WADU business views in AWS related decisions makings.
- owning jointly the API strategy from the WADU business side.
- Working with WADU engagement team to establish the WADU outbound data governance.
- Establishing and jointly owning WADU Consumer Forum.
- Encouraging curiosity and thinking.
- Driving the Understanding that good data is foundational.
- Driving AWS awareness within the team; Help and guide the team members in developing AWS skillsets.
- Partnering with local management and global management and team members alike
- Building strong relationship with stakeholders like technology and our data consumer teams.
Skills Required:
- In depth knowledge in AWS service offering - experience of at least one AWS migration is a must.
- 15+ years in a Data/ Infrastructure related role and should possess expert level understanding of Databases, Web services, Middleware and server and storages.
- Must have worked as a Business architect or a Data Architect before.
- Self-starter with ability to manage own workload and deliverables. Must be a team player.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in working with data to query, be curious with data and have a sensible regard around data accuracy. Data interrogation and Quality checking.
