Just In Time – Hiring: Project Manager

Role Overview

Just In Time is hiring a highly organized and proactive Retail Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end execution of new store launches and retail expansion projects. The role will serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all matters related to new store openings—ensuring timely execution, adherence to budgets, compliance with company standards, and seamless coordination between internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute new store launch projects from concept to opening.
  • Act as the SPOC for all expansion-related activities, liaising with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, IT, Finance) and external vendors (contractors, landlords, architects, consultants).
  • Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-budget execution.
  • Conduct site readiness checks including civil, interiors, electrical, IT, fixtures, and branding before store handover.
  • Track progress, prepare regular status reports and updates for management.
  • Coordinate with government authorities and ensure statutory compliance for store operations (licenses, permissions, etc.).
  • Ensure brand guidelines and store design standards are maintained across all locations.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
  • Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and resolve issues quickly to avoid delays.
  • Support post-opening audits and reviews to ensure smooth transition to Operations.

Key Requirements

• Graduate in Engineering / Project Management / Retail Management; MBA preferred.

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in project management in retail store launches or expansion.

• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, vendor management, and retail fit-outs.

• Ability to manage multiple projects across locations with strong attention to detail.

• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and project tracking tools.

• Willingness to travel extensively across regions for project execution.
