Job Description
- As a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating 3D models of building projects using Autodesk Revit software, specifically focusing on architectural aspects. Your role will involve participating in BIM coordination meetings to address clashes and conflicts within the models, while also collaborating with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration. Regular quality checks on the models will be conducted by you to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standards. Additionally, you will be managing and updating Revit models as design changes occur throughout the project lifecycle.
To excel in this role, you should possess a proven track record of 3 to 4 years in a similar capacity. Experience in client coordination is essential, along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, although it is preferred. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software, particularly in architectural and structural domains, as well as Navisworks, will be crucial. A solid understanding of building codes and construction standards is required, and your strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be highly valued. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for successful collaboration, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines consistently.
