KANINI - Data Architect

• KANINI is looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and cloud data modernization initiatives.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing scalable data ecosystems, defining data strategies, and aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
• Experience in Healthcare is preferred, while BFSI and Retail domain experience will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design enterprise data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse platforms.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business and analytics requirements.
• Define enterprise data standards, metadata strategies, and data management frameworks.
• Lead cloud data platform implementations and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and application teams to align data architecture with business goals.
• Establish data governance, quality, security, lineage, and compliance standards.
• Optimize data architecture for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Define data roadmaps and modernization strategies for enterprise clients.
• Support RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, and client presentations.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership across data initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Data Strategy.
• Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Experience with dimensional modeling, including Kimball and Inmon methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Knowledge of batch processing, real-time data streaming, and structured and unstructured data.
• Understanding of data governance, master data management (MDM), metadata, lineage, and data catalog tools.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Airflow, AWS Glue, NiFi, or similar technologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Good to Have:

• Healthcare domain experience; BFSI or Retail experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Data Vault modeling.
• Experience in client-facing architecture, RFP/RFI solutioning, and data strategy presentations.
