Kazam - Product Manager - EV Charging

About the Role:
As a Product Manager at Kazam, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our cutting-edge IoT-based charging stations, designed for both B2B and B2C markets. You'll collaborate across engineering, design, and business teams, ensuring that our products meet user needs and business goals. From ideation to delivery, you'll manage product lifecycles, prioritize features, and ensure exceptional user experience. Responsibilities:
- Lead the product development process for Kazam's IoT-based charging stations, overseeing everything from concept to launch.
- Manage cross-functional teams (engineering, design, business) to define and deliver product features.
- Work closely with B2B clients and end consumers to gather feedback, identify pain points, and translate these into actionable product requirements.
- Oversee technical aspects of product development, including power electronics, firmware, safety features (e.g., surge protection, IP ratings), and software to connect devices to cloud servers.

- Own the product roadmap, making data-driven decisions to prioritize features, ensuring timely releases, and managing trade-offs effectively.
- Drive the product lifecycle, including testing, user feedback, and iterations, to continuously improve the charging stations' performance.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders and vendors to ensure the highest standards of product quality, safety, and compliance.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in product management, ideally in hardware or IoT products.
- Solid understanding of power electronics, safety features (e.g., surge protection, fuses), IP ratings, and electrical circuits.
- Experience working on B2B and B2C products, with a track record of delivering successful products to both business clients and consumers.
- Proven ability in cross-functional stakeholder management, collaborating with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver exceptional products.
- Empathy towards clients and consumers is crucial; you should understand their needs, pain points, and work to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
- Experience in agile product management methodologies and strong problem-solving skills.
