Job Summary
The Mission Tech Finance Team is looking for a self-driven business partner to support management reporting in multiple discipline groups including PP&C, FP&A and Shared Services. This position will be responsible for working hand in hand with business leaders in both finance and operations management to understand business needs and leverage technology to provide accurate, effective and timely reporting to multiple internal and external users. The successful candidate will have solid working knowledge of key financial concepts and metrics and provide innovative solutioning for leveraging data from multiple databases and sources. This is a unique opportunity to provide broad support to the Finance organization with a chance to impact multiple levels of the business from the Mission Tech reporting unit down to the project/customer reporting unit.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with all levels of finance organization on reporting requirements for both internal and external customers.
• Work independently and in partnership with business owners to provide innovative interactive reporting solutions to address a wide range of business needs using Power BI, Power Query, VBA, Cognos and other reporting tools.
• Transform financial data into visualization charts using Power BI and other reporting tools.
• 
  Leverage multiple databases to merge and compile information to calculate relevant financial and business performance metrics.
• Maximize automation of routine tasks and processes using advanced toolsets (Artificial Intelligence or AI, Optical Character Recognition or OCR, Robotic Process Automation or RPA or Bots).
• Automate translation and migration of data between different systems (Costpoint, Cobra, EPM, EDW, OnBase).
• Ensure data quality by identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, and missing data to improve accuracy.
• Create documentation and work instructions for applications and processes, ensure compliance with KBR IT standards and controls.
  

Qualifications Including Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Information Technology, Business Analytics, Information Systems or a related field.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Power App, Power Automate, Data Modeling, SQL, VBA, Power Query.
• Expert understanding of Power BI functionality (reporting, publishing, security, mobile app).
• Foundational understanding of financial reporting metrics (Revenue, Cost of Goods Sold, Indirect Rate Application, EBIT, Cashflow, DSO, DPO)

  Get Hired
• Working knowledge of project management core concepts (contract types, cost sets, schedule, budgets).
• Experience with data analysis techniques, data integration, data modeling and data visualization.
  

Familiarity with basic software testing and implementation concepts and methods
Preferred Qualifications Education, Experience, & Skills

• Working knowledge of Costpoint, Cobra, Hyperion (EPM, FCCS), OnBase, EDW, MSD.
• Capability with alternate programming and reporting tools (DAX, Python or R, Appian, Cognos).
• Project management Professional (PMP) or EVMS certification.
