Manager Accounts

Overview

The Manager Accounts position is responsible for advising an organization on how to increase shareholder value through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures, and regulations such as tax filing and financial reporting. The ideal candidate shares our commitment to carefully guide decision-making for portfolio management, investment planning, tax minimization, risk management, budgeting, asset purchases, and sales. Objectives
Develop metrics for driving business performance relative to strategic priorities and minimizing risk.

• Drive value within the business through aiding margin enhancement and cost optimization.
• Execute accurate reporting that enables sound analysis and financial recommendations
• Provide insights into business performance vs. industry trends
• Manage relationships with bankers, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Ensure compliance to relevant cross border and local regulations.

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage a team that develops financial models and recommendations for executive decision-making by conducting comprehensive analysis and utilizing appropriate methods.
• Coordinate strategic financial planning for the company, including expenses, income, insurance coverage, objectives, tax status and risk tolerance.
• Focus on daily and month-end accounting to determine results, including P&L activity (management fees, fee splitting, gross-ups, reclasses), balance sheet activity (deferrals, accruals), and accounts-receivable cash application, in compliance with IFRS.
• Support Finance Head in implementing business valuation model, measuring results, tracking performance vs. expectations, and providing recommendations for corrective action.
• Provide insights about spending trends, cost-optimization initiatives, and margin opportunities

Job qualifications and requirements

• Minimum requirement B. Com., Chartered Accountant
• 5-10 years overall work experience in Finance function with at least last 3 years as a Finance Manager.
