Key Account Manager

A reputable and well-established Pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a Key Account Manager to be based in Abu Dhabi.

Applicants must have proven work experience in the country where the role is based. Candidates who have relocated within the last 12 months will not be considered.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve sales and business objectives.
• Promote and provide scientific information on assigned products to healthcare professionals in line with company strategies and compliance standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and healthcare professionals.
• Develop a strong understanding of assigned therapeutic areas, products, competitors, and market dynamics.
• Identify business opportunities and implement appropriate customer engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and other cross-functional teams to execute brand and account strategies.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities and provide relevant market intelligence.
• Effectively manage the assigned territory and customer portfolio to maximize business opportunities.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related field.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical commercial experience, preferably within an MNC environment.
• Experience in Oncology is a plus; candidates with experience in Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Women's Health/Gynecology, or other Primary Care therapeutic areas.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Commercially driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
