Job Description

As a Business Manager for Borewell Submersible pumps segment for the Small Pump Business (SPB) vertical, you will be responsible for driving company sales & achieve the targets by convincing existing dealers, sourcing new customers & dealers at required places and executing various Marketing Initiatives like Farmer meets, Captains meet, Kisan Melas, Meets with Krishi Vikas Kendras, Agriculture Body meets, Field demonstrations highlighting the USPs and Benefits of the Product.

The BM must collect market intelligence related to Competitors, Captains Farmers and related end users as would be required under system

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales of KBL SPB-Retail sector-BWS Segment products in his command area. (in all districts the assigned, also known as Area of Operation/Territory)
2. Conducting brand building activities like plumber/ mechanic/electrician/Borewell Operators meet, retailer meet, and farmer meet to enhance KBLs brand image in his command area. (Especially at Taluka)
3. Develop retailer network under dealers so that we can improve our reach and footprint in the market.
4. Develop and nurture all existing dealers of KBL so that we meet our AOP.
5. Appoint new dealers for KBL so that we cover all the white spaces in the geographical area for KBL.
6. Move in the market along with either the dealer or his sales force to appoint quality retailers

7. Motivate the dealers w.r.t. various push schemes and ensure that the dealer’s primary sales go up with KBL and he meets all the targets. This coupled with the secondary sales for the dealers.
8. Provide market feedback to State Head w.r.t. competition and seek support from the sector if required to compete in the market.

9. While maintaining/Increasing sales of V4 Range, focus on establishing V6 to V9 Range as well our Oil filled range of pumps by organizing demonstrations/Captain Meets/Farmer/Retailer meets

10. Business travel in a month minimum 20 days to cover all the A, B.C Category dealers and Retailers, Captains as per directions of Company superior achieving the pre-defined targets set for the month, Quarter, Year (targets as per company/Segment policy)

11. Regular and daily reporting as per company policy in applications via Mail, applications like STORM, emerging apps, telecall as per requirement (on all working days)

12. Ability to identify and address technical issues faced by customers and more importantly providing guidance on choosing the right pump based on factors like water source, land size and crop/type/Domestic requirement/Builders Requirement/Institution Requirement.
