Quality Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Study of testing arrangement drawing and required accessories for testing.
• Study of customer order for preparation of QAP.
• Compliance to management system activities at APOEM.
• Support for recruitment of fabricator, welder, painter, machinist etc. and ensure required qualifications.
• Compliance to specifications / processes requirements during manufacturing & testing of pump sets
  
• Schedule of production, witness testing of pumps.
• Keeping records of pump tested / rejected.
• Coordinate with concern department in KBL for required support / clarifications.
• Providing necessary guidance / Training to APOEM workers to improve product /process performance.
• Provide feedback to CQA, Design, Assembly, Composite, Building Dept., Maintenance, marketing division regarding APOEM activities/issues.
• Coordinate and execute third- party inspection/customers visit smoothly to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure calibration of instruments and calibration record.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Background of Centrifugal Pump type manufacturing industry. (Pump testing as per ISO 9906, Assembly, Balancing etc.)

2. Person from Bangalore area and nearby. ( Kannad Language Spoken)
