At Kohler Co., we are a leading global manufacturer in the plumbing industry, known for our high-quality products, innovative designs, and commitment to customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Head - Kohler Studio.
Job Purpose
This role exists to aid and support the business development and specification efforts nationally to support the Kohler Studio by showcasing and impressing upon both project and retail customers the various brand pillars of 1) Heritage 2)Technology 3)Luxury 4) Performance and 5)Sustainability thereby converting potential customers into leads and ultimately sales.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Display and product interaction touch-point for customers and consumers
- Convey knowledge and information about the brand, its history legacy etc. to all retail and project walk-ins
- Understand and effectively communicate Kohler’s value proposition to its influencers and end customers
- Ensure top of the line customer experience to all visitors including all housekeeping, live products, and general upkeep of the Kohler Studio
- Lead Generation
- Have a deep understanding of customer needs of the various categories of customers and suggest relevant products which will result in leads being generated
- Enable envisioning of customer’s ideas and supplement it with Kohler’s offering
- Convince customers about the superiority of the Kohler offering vis-à-vis other competitor brands
- Direct customers to relevant dealers for selling closure
- Achieve business specifications target for the Kohler Studio
- Luxury positioning
- Have an understanding of the luxury market and showcasing the various facets of the brand that make it a luxury brand such as Heritage, craftsmanship, artistic value
- Achieve specifications target of luxury specifications as a percentage of total specifications target
- Showcase trends/stories
- Pitch in the “Complete bathroom Solution” provider concept
- Efficient and effective retail operations
- Effectively utilize the sales aids in the studio to drive specifications
- Liaison effectively with sales and BD teams
- Liaison with the BD and sales team to ensure all visitors by invite are handled effectively
- Relationship Management
- Manage the entire database of prospects by Architect, dealer till closure
- Liaison with BD and sales teams to ensure all walk – ins by invite are effectively handled
- Coordinate and actively participate in the execution of all events held at the Kohler studio
- Help execute the marketing calendar for the Kohler Studio

- B.ARCH/Interior Design. MBA Preferred.
- 7-10 years in the sanitary ware industry(prior work experience with a luxury brand is preferred)
- Astute business manager, strategy focused and proactive.
- Confident and personable with a positive, customer-centric orientation.
- Strong people-development skills.
- Passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication skills, articulate even in situations of conflict.
- Sound brand knowledge, particularly in the luxury marketplace.
- Microsoft Office skills required
