Job Title: Accountant
Location: Kottayam, Kerala
Summary
The Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of the preparing financial statements and reports, managing payroll, and assist the auditors in internal and statutory audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as experience in the Financial industry.
Responsibilities
book keeping in tally.
Inventory management in tally.
Generating e-way bills.
Generating invoices.
Internal Controls.
Tracking trade receivables and payables.
Providing timely reports to management.
Identifying and complying with TDS and GST requirements.
Assist the auditor in Statutory Audit.
Payroll processing.
Coordinate banking activities.
Preparing and verifying expense vouchers.
Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting or above.
• Accountant with 2-3 years accounting experience or a CA inter with experience in CA firms (Articleship completed).
• Strong knowledge in Tally.
• Strong knowledge in compliances like GST, TDS etc.
• 2+ years of experience in tally accounting software.
