Role- Test Architect
Automotive Software Development Platform Role Overview We are seeking an exceptional Test Architect for our Automotive Software Development Platform.
Responsible for defining, leading, and governing the end-to-end test strategy across complex automotive, data, cloud, and AI-driven systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding technical aptitude, a strong leadership mindset, collaborative spirit, and the ability to engage effectively with both customers and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Test Leadership o Define and own the high-level and detailed test strategy for the entire Automotive Software Development Platform (data lake, cloud, AI, ECUs, OTA, co-simulation, cross-domain services, supplier scope) to Align the test strategy with customer short-term and long-term goals, product roadmap, and platform architecture o Govern test architecture compliance and adapt strategies for evolving platform features
• Test Design & Governance o Architect test frameworks covering data governance, dashboards, ECUs, cloud services, OTA, AI components, and co-simulation environments o Establish standards for test automation, CI/CD integration, and virtual/vehicle-based testing o Oversee test data management, test environments provisioning, and simulation setup
• Collaboration & Customer Engagement o Act as the primary interface for test topics with customers, suppliers, and internal teams o Understand customer requirements, translate them into actionable test plans, and proactively communicate risks and progress o Drive adoption of best practices and foster a culture of quality throughout the product lifecycle
• Platform Quality Ownership o Lead quality initiatives such as defect prevention, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement o Define KPIs, metrics, and reporting structures for platform quality o Ensure alignment of supplier-delivered components with platform quality standards
• Technical & Team Leadership o Mentor and uplift team members, fostering growth and a collaborative environment o Guide and review test case design, automation code, and coverage analysis o Influence technical decisions and advocate for scalable, robust test architectures Required Skills & Experience

  Technical Expertise o 15+ years in software/system testing, including architecting test strategies for large-scale platforms o Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, data lakes, ECUs, OTA, AI/ML, and IoT systems o Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, virtualization/simulation (MIL/SILS/HIL/Vehicle-based), and observability tools o Strong knowledge of integration, qualification, and release readiness testing for complex multi-domain systems
