KPMG - Technology Consultant - Digital Transformation

Role Overview:
The Technology Consultant covers cross-cutting technology, integration and automation feasibility, and supports the AI-vs-rule-based classification and emerging-technology assessment. The role involves active coordination with DJB's system owners and incumbent vendors across departments to obtain integration and systems details.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing integration feasibility with DJB's existing systems and registers for each use case
- Coordinating directly with DJB system owners, IT teams and incumbent vendors across departments to gather integration, systems and data-flow details for scoping
- Evaluating automation (RPA / workflow) options for administrative and office-process use cases
- Supporting the AI-vs-rule-based classification and identifying problem statements better delivered as rule-based digital transformation

- Assessing emerging-technology applicability (IoT and GIS integration touchpoints) alongside the GIS and AI leads
- Supporting data-readiness and pipeline / integration feasibility jointly with the Data Engineer
- Contributing technical-architecture and integration inputs to the scoping and RFQ drafts, with security and responsible-AI considerations
Key Deliverables:
- Integration-feasibility inputs for the AS-IS & Data-Readiness Report (D2)
- Classification inputs for the Feasibility & Prioritisation Report (D3)
- Technical / integration RFQ inputs for the Scoping & RFQ Report (D4)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate / postgraduate in engineering or technology
- Technology-consulting / solution-integration experience, deployed at Technology Consultant grade per the RFE
- Familiarity with enterprise systems, APIs, automation and cloud platforms
Desirable Skills:
- GIS / IoT exposure; public-sector systems experience
- Awareness of MeitY standards and the India Digital Ecosystem Architecture
- Resourceful and proactive in liaising with multiple technical stakeholders and vendors to obtain the information required
