Presales Consultant - Executive Search Firm

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Client Solutions Consultant to join our Delhi office.

This is a client-facing role responsible for developing and managing relationships with leading corporate clients while partnering closely with our executive search teams to deliver senior leadership hiring mandates.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building relationships, understands professional services, communicates with confidence, and is passionate about helping organizations build high-performing leadership teams.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Build and manage relationships with existing and prospective clients across industries.
• Understand clients' business objectives and leadership hiring requirements.
• Drive business development through networking, referrals and strategic outreach.
• Work closely with the executive search team to scope mandates and ensure seamless execution.
• Advise clients on hiring strategies, market trends, talent availability and compensation benchmarks.
• Lead commercial discussions including proposals, engagement letters and fee negotiations.
• Represent Vahura at industry events and client meetings.
• Build long-term strategic partnerships with clients by delivering exceptional service and insights.
• Collaborate with internal research and delivery teams to ensure high-quality client outcomes.
• Track opportunities and maintain accurate CRM and business development records.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

5-7 years of experience in:

• Talent Acquisition/HR in a Leading Law Firm, OR
• Presales in a Multinational Corporation or Large Indian Corporate, OR
• A Revenue Generator / Client Relationship Manager in an Executive Search, or Professional Services/Consultative Sales.

Preferred: Law graduate. Non-law graduates with strong consultative sales experience will also be considered.
