Role Description The Senior Nutraceutical Formulation Scientist will lead the development and optimization of Ayurvedic and herbal nutraceutical products, ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory compliance. This full-time, on-site role in Jodhpur involves designing formulations, conducting experimental trials, validating stability and efficacy, and overseeing scale-up from laboratory to manufacturing. The role includes close collaboration with R&D, quality assurance, production, and regulatory teams to support technology transfer, documentation, and continuous improvement of existing product lines. The scientist will review current scientific literature, evaluate new ingredients and delivery systems, and contribute to innovation pipelines aligned with market needs and company strategy. Additional responsibilities include preparing technical reports, supporting audits and certifications, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to cross-functional product development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills and experience in practical Research within nutraceuticals, herbal products, or related life sciences.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Formulation and Research and Development (R&D) for Ayurvedic, herbal, or nutraceutical products.
• Candidates should possess proven capability in Technology Transfer, including scale-up from lab to pilot and commercial manufacturing.
• Masters or PhD in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related discipline; specialization in nutraceuticals or Ayurveda is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of GMP, quality systems, and relevant regulatory frameworks for nutraceuticals and herbal products.
• Experience with stability studies, analytical methods in collaboration with QC, and documentation for compliance and audits.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, with the ability to design and execute experimental plans.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams and mentoring junior scientists.
