Job Description
- The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in Azure Infra Architecture, monitoring infrastructure, Azure resource management, designing applications for Azure, and writing programs/scripts for Azure deployment. Additionally, experience with Containers/Kubernetes support teams is desirable.
You will be responsible for deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, secure, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure. Your duties will include evaluating and improving existing Azure infrastructure, identifying appropriate use of Azure and operational best practices, and maintaining web hosting architecture.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supporting customer-facing cloud operations to ensure 99.999% uptime. You should be able to lead in-depth technology discussions in cloud operations and have strong experience in Azure operations.
Key responsibilities include designing, building, testing, deploying, analyzing, administering, monitoring, and maintaining 24x7 Cloud-based services. You will research and recommend the procurement and use of Azure Cloud-based infrastructure services, provide support for internal and client-facing solutions, and mentor staff on the proper use of Cloud-based services.
Moreover, you will be expected to provide 24/7 operational support for production network, servers, and systems. Collaboration with NOC, QA, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot system issues and deliver timely resolutions is crucial. You will also contribute to setting priorities, establishing milestones, and deadlines for product releases.
To qualify for this role, you should have deep technical familiarity with Azure and its components, virtualization, and networking. A minimum of 4 years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS is required. Expertise in Microsoft Azure services, Azure Site Recovery, Backups, Clustering, Load Balancing, as well as knowledge of Information Security, Data Privacy, and regulatory compliance is essential.

A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Computer Science is preferred, along with experience working in a 24x7x365 SaaS environment. Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and presentation skills are necessary to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Certifications such as Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions 70-533 would be advantageous. The role is based in Coimbatore and requires proficiency in DevOps, Windows Azure, and Microsoft Windows Azure.
