Finance - Indirect Taxation Officer

Purpose of the Role

• To look after GST, Duty Drawback, Export Incentives work and also attend departmental audit, CERA audit and liaison work with Government departments and to comply with the rules and regulations of the enactments on time.


• To obtain the relevant enactments / amendments and ensure that the same is implemented at all the units on time.


• To have good knowledge on legal developments and maintain all the data and MIS related to Taxation

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• 
  To assist all work relating to GST,DGFT ,Duty Drawback, Export Incentives of all units


• To assist departmental audit and CERA audit of all units across the organization.


• To look after the liaison work pertaining to all units across the organization.


• To assist other units of the LMW group in proper maintenance of the systems and procedures.


• To assist other Units of LMW and also group Units at the time of different audits and draft suitable replies to the audit objections and queries.


• To assist in drafting appeal papers before different judiciaries


• To be responsible for all taxation related matters of the company and ensure its smooth functioning by leading the taxation team


• Keeping track of Tax amendments and implementing the same across the Company wherever applicable


• Compilation & Submission of MIS Reports on Tax outflow.


• Assisting in tax payments and returns and other fillings relating to Direct Tax


• Should be updated with knowledge of legal developments in the fields of direct tax.


• Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process
