Job Description
- You will be responsible for carrying out coordination within the EDRC and site. You will assist the Head of EDRC for delivering designs to Approvers and the Site team. Additionally, you will coordinate with Project Directors/Managers and Planning Managers to ensure design delivery and support from EDRC. Interaction with Clients and Clients Engineers will be necessary to obtain approvals for designs and drawings. Attending review meetings with Clients, PMC, Site Management, and EDRC will also be part of your responsibilities.
Your duties will include coordinating within EDRC to deliver designs according to the agreed schedule. You will follow up with External Consultants for approvals of designs submitted by the Design Team. Providing updates to the Head of EDRC, the EDRC Chennai team, Project Directors, and BU Team on design status and potential approval issues will be crucial. You will also offer technical support to the site team in construction and procurement activities. Preparing a Hurdle map to ensure smooth delivery of designs and drawings and coordinating with the Head of EDRC for design delivery of various projects will be among your responsibilities.
You will be authorized to interact with Project Directors/Managers and Heads of various departments for design delivery. Dealing with Proof Consultants, Safety Consultants, Authority/Independent Engineers, Clients, their team members, and invoicing from external consultants will also fall within your responsibilities. Coordinating with all EDRC disciplines, Design Consultants, the Procurement department, and various Project sites will be essential.
This position requires a minimum qualification of a Master of Technology (MTech) and 14-16 years of experience. Proficiency in skills such as AutoCAD, Midas, and Revit is necessary. The job location is in Bengaluru for the role of Design Coordinator at K RIDE C4LNT/DCKR/
