Job Description

Qualification:- Chartered Accountant (First Attempt) with 3-5 years of experience in Corporate FP&A(MIS) / Business Finance / Corporate Accounts role•IT Industry background preferred
 

Job Biography - Support senior management with robust mechanisms to prepare accurate financial forecasts and conduct insightful analyses of the operational and financial performance of the organization to enable sound decision-making
 

Responsibilities:-
•Translate organization’s strategy and outlook into long-term and short-term plans, in the form of annual budgets and regular forecasts, respectively
•Ensure alignment of all functions - business, sales, finance and other support – for achievement of targets and budgets
•Track whether actual performance is in-line with expected performance by analyzing key operational and financial metrics and suggest corrective action wherever necessary
 

Principal Accountabilities -


•Maintain and regularly update financial models for budgeting and forecasting activities
•Prepare quarterly and monthly reports
•Assist in Monthly/Quarterly reporting activities to the Management and Board
•Analyze historical trends of operational and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
•Analysis of MIS and key operational parameters
•Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
 

Secondary Accountabilities -
•Assist in development of financial models as required, and analyze them to support strategic initiatives
•Assist in implementation of business intelligence tools and dashboard reports
•Support the team in ad-hoc business performance reporting requirements
•Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity
•Assist in cost estimates for new and proposed product costs
•Provide support as required for cost benefit analysis related to projects and/or programs
•Provide insights into the performance of the organization and areas of improvement

•Ability to develop accurate financial models in spreadsheets and effective presentations
•Ability to handle large and derive meaningful information
•Ability to develop a deep understanding of the business and its key drivers
•Ability to build relationship with multiple stakeholders
•Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
