Latinum is hiring for a client looking for a creative, internet-savvy Social Media Manager to make its brand a standout presence online.

This is an ideation-first role for someone who understands Indian internet culture, spots trends early, and turns product features, memes, and cultural moments into engaging, shareable content. The goal is to go beyond routine content calendars and create ideas that spark conversations and make the brand part of internet culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate fresh, culturally relevant ideas for social content, campaigns, product launches, creator collaborations, and online conversations.
• Develop social-first campaigns, recurring formats, memes, and creative concepts that drive organic reach, engagement, and brand awareness.
• Connect product features and benefits with internet culture through entertaining, relatable, and non-promotional content.
• Track trends, memes, creators, and youth culture across Instagram, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X, identifying what the brand should adopt or avoid.
• Build a distinctive brand voice that is witty, expressive, culturally relevant, and recognisable.
• Translate audience behaviour and cultural insights into compelling hooks, scripts, posts, reels, and campaign ideas.
• Develop campaigns across organic social media, influencers, creators, communities, and paid amplification.
• Own end-to-end execution, from ideation and scripting to publishing, working with designers, editors, creators, and agencies.
• Experiment with new formats, tones, and creative approaches, using performance insights to shape future content.
• Independently own social media strategy, content calendars, creative direction, and overall brand presence.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in social media, content strategy, creative strategy, or brand marketing, preferably for a consumer-facing product or brand.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating creative ideas and campaigns that generated attention, engagement, conversations, or community participation.
• Excellent understanding of Indian internet culture, memes, youth culture, creators, and social media platforms.
• Strong creative ideation, storytelling, copywriting, and scripting skills.
• An instinct for creating content that makes audiences stop scrolling, react, share, comment, and participate.
• Ability to identify relevant trends without forcing brand participation where it doesnt fit.
• A proactive, experimental mindset with the ability to work independently and turn ideas into execution.
• Strong collaboration skills; experience managing creators, freelancers, or agencies is an advantage.
