Job Description

  • Position- Accountant
  • Department- Finance & Accounts
  • Reports To- Accounts Manager / Finance Manager
  • Location- Kochi
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions.
  • Prepare payment vouchers, journal entries, receipts, and invoices.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
  • Verify purchase bills, subcontractor bills, and supporting documents.
  • Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records.
  • Assist in payroll accounting and salary reconciliation.
  • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.
  • Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
  • Support budgeting, cost analysis, and MIS reporting.
  • Assist management with financial data and reports as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Commerce (B.Com).
