Job Description
- Position- Accountant
- Department- Finance & Accounts
- Reports To- Accounts Manager / Finance Manager
- Location- Kochi
- Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Prepare payment vouchers, journal entries, receipts, and invoices.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
- Verify purchase bills, subcontractor bills, and supporting documents.
- Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records.
- Assist in payroll accounting and salary reconciliation.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
- Support budgeting, cost analysis, and MIS reporting.
- Assist management with financial data and reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Bachelors Degree in Commerce (B.Com).
