An exciting opportunity with one of Indias leading private players in the thermal power sector. They are hiring for a Unit & sector Legal Role supporting their Power Business, which operates large-scale thermal power assets across Punjab, Chhattisgarh, and Andhra Pradesh—including North India’s largest private thermal facility. 

This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, managing litigation, driving contractual governance, handling regulatory matters, and supporting business operations across the power vertical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing statutory compliance, licenses, and regulatory approvals
• 
  Managing disputes, litigation, arbitration, and coordination with external counsel
• Supporting business transactions, contract management, and governance frameworks
• Identifying legal risks and recommending mitigation strategies
• Liaising with government authorities and external law firms for effective issue resolution 

What They’re Looking For:

• LLB/LLM with 12+ years of experience in power sector managing power and energy litigation and disputes.

  Strong background in corporate law, regulatory compliance, contracts, and dispute resolution
• Ability to operate independently and support a large-scale industrial business environment
