Assistant / Deputy Manager - Paint Shop

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and support to do powder Coating & plating for achieving the production targetsw.r.t. delivery & related KPI
• Ensure Safety Compliances in Respective Shop
• Implementation of Legrand Way, EMS & Environment effectively w.r.t. Targets by Leading, managing and developing team members through training, coaching, sharing best industrial practices and creating opportunities for the team to implement the same.
• Responsible for Group reporting of Environment as per given time frame.
• Responsible for the environmental testing as required in EMS Audits.
• Maintaining ETP/STP plant as per the applicable standards & Govt. norms.
• Responsible for applicable pollution compliances
• Prepare and control of budgetary CAPEX to ensure investments required for EMS, Paint & Plating in consultation with Functional Head.
  
• Ensure 5S and Quality Aspects/Parameters in Shop and Product
• Ensure IMS compliance in respective Shop

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of production processes i.e Powder Coating Technology/ ETP/STP Functions
• Thoroughly knowledge of Powder coating process & raw material used.
• Problem solving / Planning & Time Management Skill
• Managing the change management process

Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge and Experience

• Graduate / degree in chemical/Mechanical/Industrial engineering/BSc with 5-6 years experience in plating/powder coating and painting process.
• Relevant 5-6 year working experience in Paint Shop Function.
• Knowledge of processes like PT, Paint, different Plating, Switch (GSP Eaton) & Planning.
• Highly proficient in using MS-Office applications MS Excel (Specially), MS word and power-point, ERP.
