Job Title: Finance Controller
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 9 years of experience in the finance department, with a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Technical Skills

• Accounting Expertise: Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including revenue recognition for software and services.
• Tax Acumen: Knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance.
• Financial Modelling amp; Analysis: Proficient in using financial modeling tools like Excel and specialized software to build budgets, forecasts, and analyze financial data.
• Internal Controls amp; Compliance: Understanding of internal controls frameworks like COSO and SOX, and ability to assess and manage risks.

• IT Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the IT industry, its business models, revenue streams, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate financial data into insights that inform strategic decision-making and support business growth.
• Cost Management: Expertise in cost accounting and activity-based costing to optimize resource allocation and improve profitability.
• Mergers amp; Acquisitions (Mamp;A) Experience: Understanding of Mamp;A transactions and the ability to value IT assets, perform due diligence, and integrate financial operations.
