We are looking for a commercially driven finance professional to partner with our Retail and Wholesale businesses across North & East India. This role sits at the intersection of finance and business—driving performance through strong analytics, financial controls, and strategic decision support. About The Role
- Act as a finance business partner to Retail and Wholesale teams, driving revenue, margin (MGP), EBIT, and working capital performance
- Provide decision support to leadership through robust MIS, analytics, and actionable business insights
- Support strategic initiatives including business growth plans, new business model structuring, and trade term optimization
- Lead partner lifecycle management including agreements, credit limit controls, collections, reconciliations, and full & final settlements
- Drive strong financial governance by ensuring adherence to controls, compliance frameworks, and SOX requirements
- Monitor and optimize working capital through effective management of receivables, inventory, and collections
- Own store-related financials including revenue recognition, inventory tracking, and collection efficiency
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and identify opportunities to improve margins and business performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve reporting accuracy, timelines, and operational efficiency
- Qualification & Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant with 5–7 years of experience in commercial finance or decision support roles
- Business Partnering: Strong experience working closely with leadership teams, influencing decisions, and supporting business growth
- Financial Expertise: Solid understanding of US GAAP, India GAAP, and SOX compliance frameworks
- Systems & Tools: Proficient in SAP ERP and advanced Excel; strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to interpret financial data into actionable insights with a strong understanding of business levers
- Execution Excellence: High ownership, ability to work independently, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Stakeholder Management: Effective in managing internal stakeholders and external partners across lifecycle stages
- Agility & Drive: Strong sense of urgency, problem-solving mindset, and ability to operate in a fast-paced setup
