Security Legal (Risk & Compliance) Expert

We are looking for a Security Legal (Risk & Compliance) Expert to ensure regulatory compliance and data protection. Assess laws, conduct risk evaluations, and mitigate security and compliance risks across IT systems. Bring your legal expertise in IT laws and governance to support critical government and financial projects.

Regulatory Monitoring & Compliance:

• Continuously track and assess laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security, privacy, and data protection to ensure the organization remains compliant with evolving legal requirements.

Risk Assessment & Mitigation:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential security and compliance risks within the organizations systems, processes, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of organizational data.

Educational Qualifications:

• BA LLB, BBA LLB, or LLB from a recognized institution.

Professional Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the legal field.
• At least 3 years of experience working on IT projects, with a focus on legal aspects of technology, data, and digital transformation.

Project Experience:

• Must have served as a Legal Expert on at least one project for a Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), Banking, Financial Sector, or Regulatory Body in India.

Legal Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of relevant Acts and Regulations, including:
• Information Technology Act, 2000
• Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act
• Aadhaar Act
