Role Description The LIC Agent (Free Lancer) role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Chennai, with flexibility for some work-from-home activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying prospective clients, explaining LICs insurance products, assessing customer needs, and recommending suitable life insurance plans. The agent will support clients through the policy selection, application, and onboarding processes, and maintain ongoing relationships to handle renewals, claims support, and policy servicing. The role involves regular in-person meetings, telephonic and online communication, organizing customer outreach activities, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales. The agent is expected to work independently, follow LICs ethical and compliance standards, and meet agreed sales and service targets.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively promote and explain life insurance products.
• Knowledge of Insurance Brokerage and Finance to guide clients on policy options, premiums, and long-term financial planning.
• Excellent Customer Service capabilities to build trust, respond to inquiries, and support clients throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customers and present information clearly.
