AGM/DGM - Infrastructure

Role & responsibilities

• Highway Construction: Lead or oversee the construction of highways, road networks, intersections, and related transportation infrastructure projects, considering factors like safety, traffic flow, and environmental impact
• Pavement Construction : Should have experience to execute pavement layers Embankment, Subgrade, GSB,WMM, DBM,BC, DLC, PQC. Should have knowledge of technical specification, MoRTH specifications, IRC codes.
• Knowledge about fixing signboards, laying of thermoplastic paints and other road furniture.
• Construction of Retaining walls, Compound wall, Plum wall etc.
• 
  Should have experience for laying of footpath.( Kerb Stone, Edge Stone, Bullnose, Water Table, Pavers)
• Project Management: Manage highway projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring progress
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff working on highway projects
• Traffic Engineering: Analyse traffic patterns, congestion, and safety issues to develop solutions for efficient traffic flow and road safety
• Materials and Construction Methods: Select appropriate materials and construction methods for highways, considering factors like durability, cost, and sustainability
• Environmental Impact Assessment: Evaluate and mitigate the environmental impact of highway projects, including potential effects on ecosystems, air quality, and noise pollution
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government agencies, local authorities, contractors, and community groups to address concerns and ensure community involvement in highway projects
• Road Safety Measures: Implement road safety measures, such as signage, road markings, and barrier systems, to reduce accidents and fatalities
• Maintenance and Rehabilitation: Oversee highway maintenance and rehabilitation projects to ensure the longevity and functionality of road infrastructure
