Lead UXD- Insurance

• Conduct user research to gain insights into users behaviors, needs, and preferences.
• Analyze user feedback and market trends to inform design decisions.

• Collaborate with product managers to define user personas and user journeys.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to illustrate product concepts and interactions.
• Develop information architectures and navigation structures for optimal user experiences.
• Perform usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.

• Design visually appealing user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Ensure consistency in design elements, such as typography, colors, and icons.
• Work closely with developers to implement designs and provide guidance during development.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure design consistency across products.
• Advocate for the use of design system components and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and align on design goals.
• Present and communicate design concepts and rationale behind the same to the stakeholders.

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools, especially Figma, to continuously improve your skills.

• Mentor and guide designers, review work, and ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.
• Delegate tasks, manage priorities and timelines, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Take ownership of design outcomes and proactively resolve project and stakeholder challenges.

Requirements

• Experience in Insurance- SAAS platforms is a must have.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional full-time experience in UI/UX Design.
• Strong and updated portfolio demonstrating your design process, problem-solving approach, and end-to-end project work.
• Proficiency in Figma for UI design and prototyping is a must. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar tools will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of responsive UI design across mobile, tablet/iPad, and desktop/laptop platforms.
• Experience in taking projects from concept and ideation through design, developer handoff, and final implementation.
• Proven ability to independently lead design projects, make informed design decisions, and take ownership of outcomes.
• Experience in mentoring or managing designers, delegating tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects, and communicate design rationale with confidence.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A creative, user-centric mindset with strong problem-solving and design-thinking skills.
