Role Description The Vehicle Loan Executive Trainee role is a full-time position based in Attingal, structured as a hybrid role with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The trainee will assist in processing vehicle loan applications, verifying customer documentation, and supporting credit assessment in alignment with company policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include interacting with customers, explaining loan products and terms, collecting required information, and coordinating with branch and regional teams to ensure timely disbursement. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, updating loan status in internal systems, and supporting follow-ups for collections and customer queries. During the 6-month training period, the trainee will receive guidance on Mahindra Finances processes, compliance norms, and customer service standards, with a focus on building a career in vehicle financing.
Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
  • Basic knowledge of lending or retail banking processes, including documentation, credit evaluation, and loan disbursement workflows.
  • Proficiency in using computers and common office software (e.g., MS Office) and comfort working with internal loan management systems.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail for verifying documents, checking eligibility, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with branch teams, field staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline (Commerce, Business, Finance, or related fields preferred).
  • Interest in rural and semi-urban financial services, and willingness to travel locally as required for customer visits or field activities.
  • Integrity, reliability, and commitment to adhering to regulatory, compliance, and organizational policies.
