Our India team is growing — and were looking for a recruiter who can help us bring in the right people, faster. This role is built around one mandate: hire well.
The Role
Were hiring a Specialist Recruiter to own end-to-end recruitment for our India operations. This is a focused, individual-contributor role — your job is to source, screen, and close the right candidates for engineering, product, sales, customer success, and operations roles.
This is not a generalist HR role. Day-to-day HR operations (employee lifecycle, Keka admin, IT assets, engagement execution) are handled by our HR Operations team. You stay focused on hiring — and youll report directly to the CEO.
What Youll Own
Sourcing & Pipeline Building
- Build candidate pipelines for both IT roles (engineers, product, design) and non-IT roles (sales, marketing, customer success, operations) using Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, hirist, and direct outreach
- Develop and maintain a strong network across Keralas IT ecosystem (Cyberpark Calicut, Infopark Kochi) and pan-India tech communities
- Use Boolean search, X-Ray search, referral networks, and creative sourcing to find strong passive candidates
- Conduct first-round HR interviews — evaluate culture fit, communication, motivation, and basic role alignment
- Coordinate technical interview panels with hiring managers; manage interview logistics end-to-end
- Run candidate assessments, reference checks, and background verifications
- Partner with hiring managers to finalize JDs, interview rubrics, and realistic hiring timelines
- Publish a weekly hiring update for the CEO: open roles, pipeline depth, bottlenecks, time-to-fill
- Be the single point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring journey — strong candidate experience is non-negotiable
- Negotiate offers within approved compensation bands; manage offer rollout, document collection, and pre-onboarding handoff to HR Operations
- Track joiner-conversion ratios and reduce drop-off between offer and join-date
- Maintain a clean candidate tracker / ATS in Keka — every candidate, every stage, current
- Publish a weekly recruitment dashboard: open roles, pipeline depth, time-to-fill, offer-to-join ratio, source effectiveness
- Continuously refine sourcing channels, JD quality, and the interview process to improve hiring outcomes
- 2–3 years of end-to-end recruitment experience in an IT, SaaS, or product technology company
- Proven ability to source for technical roles — must be comfortable hiring software developers, designers, and product managers
- Strong working knowledge of Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and at least one ATS (Keka, Zoho Recruit, Greenhouse, or similar)
- Excellent communication in English (Malayalam is a plus for local candidate handling)
- Strong negotiation, candidate-handling, and stakeholder-management skills
- Comfortable working independently and reporting directly to the CEO
- Bachelors degree in any discipline; MBA / PGDM in HR is a plus but not required

- Prior experience hiring for an IT/SaaS company with global operations (Cyberpark, Infopark, or remote-first)
- Track record hiring for niche tech roles — DevOps, AI/ML, Backend, Senior Engineers, Product Managers
- Exposure to global hiring (UK / US / Europe) — we hire across our London, Calicut, and Bangalore offices
- Familiarity with employer branding, careers-page content, and recruitment marketing
- Recruitment certifications (LinkedIn Recruiter, AIRS, SHRM, or equivalent)
