Role: Jr. Accountant/ Office Administrator
Location: Hyderabad, India
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Jr. Accountant & Office Admin (Night Shift) to join our team in Hyderabad, India. The ideal candidate will handle entry-level accounting tasks alongside office operations, ensuring smooth administrative functions, financial record-keeping compliant with US GAAP, and support for staff, management, billing, and basic payroll. Perfect for motivated freshers or those with up to 2 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including supplies inventory, correspondence (emails, calls, mail), and maintaining a clean, productive environment.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel, and company events.
- Prepare and post basic journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and assist with month-end close processes.
- Handle billing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups; review expense reports for compliance.
- Support US payroll processing using ADP/Intuit and maintain employee records/onboarding.
- Update fixed asset schedules, prepare simple financial reports, and assist with audits/tax filings (e.g., sales tax, 1099 basics).
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and building management.
- Use MS Office/Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and QuickBooks for data entry, reports, and presentations.
- Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Office Management, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting, admin, or similar roles (internships count).
- Basic knowledge of US GAAP, QuickBooks, and billing/invoicing; familiarity with ADP/Intuit payroll a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel; strong multitasking, communication, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work night shift, meet deadlines, and thrive independently or in a team.
- Knowledge of basic office procedures and tax terms (e.g., 1041, 1099) is a plus.
