Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning, safety, and upkeep of all equipment, utilities, and physical infrastructure across QSR outlets. The role focuses on preventive maintenance planning, vendor management, regulatory compliance, and minimizing downtime to support uninterrupted restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee outlet maintenance activities
  • Ensure all equipment is operational
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules
  • Handle breakdowns and emergency repairs
  • Onboard and manage service vendors
  • Negotiate and manage AMCs
  • Ensure SLA compliance
  • Ensure safety and fire compliance
  • Conduct audits and risk checks
  • Maintain compliance documentation
  • Manage maintenance budget
  • Track and optimize costs
  • Drive energy-saving initiatives
  • Maintain asset and equipment records
  • Track lifecycle and warranties
  • Standardize equipment specifications
  • Supervise technicians (if applicable)
  • Train outlet teams on equipment handling
  • Coordinate with store managers
  • Support new store equipment setup
  • Coordinate with project teams

    Ensure pre-opening readiness

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical expertise in kitchen and refrigeration equipment
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Vendor management and negotiation capabilities
  • Budgeting and cost control
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance
  • Strong planning and multitasking ability

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 510 years of relevant experience in maintenance
  • Prior experience in QSR, hospitality, or retail chains preferred
  • Experience managing multiple locations is highly desirable
