JOB PURPOSE

What is the main purpose or objective of the job; and what will it contribute to the overall business of the company?

• To assist with smooth conduction of the laboratory course of the department
• Training the students with analytical techniques
• Perform and document all test procedures with accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in accordance with

laboratory SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

• Assist with the generation and updating of laboratory SOPs.
• Maintain lab supplies and keeping detailed lab records in order.
• Ensuring safety and compliance

What are the minimum entry level requirements for the job, in terms of Qualification and Experience:

Diploma / B. Tech. Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Petrochemical Engineering or allied areas

SkillsandKnowledge

• Technical knowledge: fundamentals of chemical engineering principles; laboratory practices and experimental methods; Understanding of chemical compatibility, hazards, and MSDS; Familiarity with process equipment and other basic instruments
• Laboratory skills
• Good computer skills for data entry and documentation
• Good communication skills
