Role Description The Agency Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Siliguri, responsible for driving sales and business growth through a network of agency partners. On a day-to-day basis, the Agency Manager recruits, trains, and mentors insurance advisors, supports them in achieving sales targets, and ensures adherence to company policies and compliance standards. This role involves planning and executing local sales initiatives, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing strategies to improve productivity and customer reach. The Agency Manager collaborates with internal teams to resolve customer issues, streamline processes, and maintain a high level of service quality. Regular reporting, market analysis, and participation in promotional activities are integral to the role.
Qualifications

• Proven skills in sales management, business development, and team leadership within financial services or insurance.
• Strong abilities in customer relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience in recruiting, training, and coaching field teams or agency partners.
• Competence in planning, target setting, performance monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.
• Good understanding of health insurance products and regulatory guidelines, or willingness to learn quickly.
• Bachelors degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Comfort with on-site work, local travel in and around Siliguri, and working with diverse customer segments.
• Strong ethical standards, resilience under pressure, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
